Traveling by driving yourself cars are not very popular in these areas. Buses are available for local transportation in Bodrum .
Intercity transportation are also provided by buses. Shuttle service are provided from the airport to the city centre .You can also hire taxis from the airport that are a bit costlier.
Car rental for touring can cost 40 to 100 Euro for 3 to 4 days. The cost depends on car type and number of days.
You should check the legal formalities before hiring for a car (Terms for driving ,age limit, insurance and papers should be checked prior to renting a car.)
Bodrum can also be reached by sea from Cos and Rhodes (Greek Islands ) for which daily ferryboats are available during summer.
Car or minibus from Bodrum to Dalaman / Cesme/ Didim – Altinkum / Marmaris can cost 100 to 150 Euro.
